Registry is a key part to store computer software and hardware setting. The daily use of application, file and network all cause registry changes. Improper operations are likely to breed registry errors. A reg optimizer is therefore in high demand to solve the annoying application errors, blue screen and system crashes. With a good reg optimizer. you can resolve and avoid registry caused system failures easily. All functions including scanning, repairing, defragment, backup and restore shall be covered in one comprehensive reg optimizer.Simple tweaks with the reg optimizer
Tweak 1: Fast scan First, we need to target those unnecessary files. The scanning process is very speedy.
Fix registry errors See all these items scanned? They are the causes of your poor system performance. Let's use the reg optimizer to remove them. If you want to do it more prudently, you can check the items by category.
Undo changes In some cases, some error messages might pop up after deleting entries. Don't panic, it can be fixed too. The undo feature of this reg optimizer is just designed to cancel the wrong moves.
Optimize registry Ok, now let's move on to the next step, a registry defragment. We will clear gaps between registry entries with the reg optimizer to release more space and help boost the computer a bit.
Backup registry There comes the last yet easily ignored step in registry tweaks. Back up! Don't excuse yourself by not having enough time to finish it. A backup will take you no more than a few seconds with this reg optimizer. But a backup will make a big difference when registry errors deteriorate.
Restore Registry With the backup file saved in your directory, you can relax a bit even when registry corrupts that much so as to ruin your system. The reg optimizer can roll your registry back to the old functioning one fast and safely.
Seeing all what the reg optimizer is capable of, why bother to learn about complex registry knowledge and get intimidated by potential wrong changes done by regedit.exe? Get a full version and boost your system right now!

moving_reg = imregister( moving , fixed , transformType , optimizer , metric ) transforms the 2-D or 3-D image, moving. so that it is registered with the reference image, fixed. Both moving and fixed images must be of the same dimensionality, either 2-D or 3-D. transformType is a character string that defines the type of transformation to perform. optimizer is an object that describes the method for optimizing the metric and metric is an object that defines the quantitative measure of similarity between the images to optimize. Returns the aligned image, moving_reg .
[ moving_reg , R_reg ] = imregister( moving , Rmoving , fixed , Rfixed , transformType , optimizer , metric ) transforms the spatially referenced image moving so that it is registered with the spatially referenced image fixed. Rmoving and Rfixed are spatial referencing objects that describe the world coordinate limits and resolution of moving and fixed .Register Two MRI Images Obtained Using Different Protocols

Older Windows 9x Registry Patches
We've added the optimal Registry settings for Cable Modems, DSL or any similar broadband Internet connection to the Registry patches below. Note that if you're using the TCP Optimizer program, there is no need to apply any of those registry patches, as they modify the same parameters. You should really experiment with different settings and add them manually or using our TCP Optimizer program above rather than applying generic patches, however we've added them for simplicity, ease of installation and the many requests. Please make sure you download the patch for your version of Windows, they are slightly different. If you'd rather try editing the Registry yourself, check the Registry Tweaks section of the site, or use our TCP Optimizer program.
Note: All patches are compressed and downloadable in "zip" format. You might need an utility, such as WinZip or WinRAR to uncompress the downloaded files before installation.

Web Patches - faster loading of Web Pages
The following patch increases Web page loading speed, by doubling the number of possible concurrent open connections. For example, imagine a web page has 20 images and some text - in order for your browser to get all these files, it opens 2 or 4 concurrent connections, depending on the Web server. Increasing the number of open connections allows for faster retrieving of the data. Please note that the patch sets some values outside of the HTML specs. If you decide to install it, backup your Registry first. Changes will take effect after you reboot. Download the patch appropriate for your OS:

Here is a quote from perltodo .
Factoring out common suffices/prefices in regexps (trie optimization)
Currently, the user has to optimize "foo|far" and "foo|goo" into "f(?:oo|ar)" and "[fg]oo" by hand; this could be done automatically.
Since this is an OO module there is no symbol exported.
This module is implemented as a subclass of Regexp::List. For methods not listed here, see Regexp::List .
Just the same us Regexp::List except for the attribute below;
When set to one, $o->optimize() tries to $o->expand before actually starting the operation.
$re = $o->optimize(regexp );
Does the job. Note that unlike ->list2re() in Regexp::List. the argument is the regular expression itself. What it basically does is to find groups will alterations and replace it with the result of $o->list2re .
$re = $o->list2re(list of words. )
Same as list2re() in Regexp::List in terms of functionality but how it tokenize "atoms" is different since the arguments can be regular expressions, not just strings. Here is a brief example.
This module is still experimental. Do not assume that the result is the same as the unoptimized version.
->optimize() does support nested groups but its parser is not tested very well.
Though this module is still experimental, It is still good enough even for such deeply nested regexes as the followng.
